Avery Wong

Avery Wong, the current Musician Intern (Part-time) at Yat Po Singers, is an avid performer and writer. She has joined various performances of the Company since 2024, including Our Immortal Cantata (Still Singing), Yat Po Two Shows 2024, the LITTLE things in life, “Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival 2025” Opening Programme: Silhouette Resonance x The Banquet (1991), Music For CM Li and You – The Lantern Festival Concert, HKPAX “Ground Search”, 18dART “islandSing” Mini Concert as well as their Finale Performances, “Jockey Club Yat Po ‘Happy A-ge-cappella’” As Long As We’re Here. She has also served as the English lyrics translator, composer, arranger, playwright and A Cappella tutor for several productions and projects of the Company.

She had been a regular performer of the HKU premier A Cappella group Mosaic HK, performing in both commercial and artistic spaces with primary works in arranging, scriptwriting and staging.

Past partnering units include We Can Sing Acappella, Boonfaysau and Gay Singers etc. Past performances include Hong Kong Arts Festival@Tai Kwun, Hong Kong International A Cappella Festival 2023, Lohas Music Festival 2022, Swedish Consulate HK Swedish Winter 2022, “Shape of Harmony-Kwai Tsing” A Cappella Concert. She has also served as lyricist for artists such as Re:member and Swing Yin etc.
