After receiving a post-graduate degree from the Music Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, he went on to study Japanese at the International Christian University in Tokyo and Jazz Music at Codarts in the Netherlands.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-secondary ); font-size: 1.0625rem;\"><br \/>In 2012, Yin received the Award for Best Artist from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. In 2009, 2013 and 2022, Yin received the Best Serious Composition in CASH Golden Sail Music Awards by the theatrical choral concert <i>Rock Hard<\/i>, double s<i>heng<\/i> concerto <i>Before the City Collapses<\/i> and Chinese orchestral work <i>Ji<\/i> respectively. And his choral work <i>Singing Voices of the World<\/i> was twice awarded the CASH Golden Sail Most Performed Works Award (Serious Music).<br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-secondary ); font-size: 1.0625rem;\"><br \/>Yin\u2019s A Cappella theatre works include <i>Rock Hard<\/i>, <i>Love, Death, and Everything In-between<\/i>, <i>Requiem HK<\/i>, <i>Pica Pica Choose<\/i> and <i>This Victoria Has No Secrets<\/i> etc.\u00a0<br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-secondary ); font-size: 1.0625rem;\"><br \/>Other works include <i>Playground<\/i>, a fusion orchestra video performance commissioned by No Limits of Hong Kong Arts Festival, <i>Soul Revisit<\/i>, a crossover project by Naam Yam singer Yuen Siu Fai and pop singer Hins Cheung, drumset concerto <i>Fly<\/i>, Chinese orchestral work<i> Tang Resonating<\/i>, dance drama spectaculars <i>L&#8217;Amour Immortel<\/i>, film score for the McDull movie <i>The Pork of Music<\/i>, choral works <i>Singing Voices of the World<\/i>, <i>Music of Love<\/i>, pop songs<i> Under the Cherry Blossom Tree<\/i> and <i>The Way We Grew<\/i> by Hins Cheung, <i>Can\u2019t Get Happy<\/i> by Eason Chan etc.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-secondary ); font-size: 1.0625rem;\"><br \/>In 2011 and 2018, Yin released his A Cappella albums<i> Single Singers<\/i> and <i>Two Is Better Than One<\/i>.
