HKS @ ArtisTree: a cappella Theatre by Yat Po Singers: Rock Hard

Rock Hard by Yat Po Singers is an original a cappella musical created as a “retrospective” of Hong Kong, retracing the city’s history through legends told by the older generations while looking forward to the future. The performance is delivered by a group of young a cappella singers, accompanied by a solo female dancer. 

 

Rock Hard won the 2009 CASH Golden Sail Music Award for the Best Serious Music Composition. A re-run was staged as the opening event of Hong Kong cultural programmes at the Shanghai World Expo 2010.
